In the middle of next year, a Polish translation of Jenara Nerenberg’s book “Divergent Mind” will be published on our initiative in cooperation with Krytyka Polityczna.

“I started imagining that there may be more people out there like me – and what if there were other ways of <<being>> in the world that didn’t have names or labels yet, especially for women?”

This is one of many insightful and thought-provoking quotes from the book, in which the author engagingly describes her journey to better self-understanding in a world “that was not designed for her”. In her own words and without too much reference to labels that carry little meaning, she describes her own, and other women’s, experiences of feeling different and how this otherness in herself was tamed and, as a result, coaxed into something good.
