What an amazing year for our organization! As we get ready for 2023 we are counting all the reasons to be grateful to our donors, partners, employees, beneficiaries, clients, and volunteers.

Here’s what Fundacja Atypowi has accomplished in 2022.

We launched the world’s first university program on neurodiversity at work in collaboration with Warsaw’s SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities. “Neurodiversity in the Workplace – Inclusive Recruiting and Management” filled every available spot and 25 program graduates will be taking their new knowledge and skills into the world by summer.

We held neurodiversity training workshops with over 500 managers and employees of businesses large and small, including Allegro, UPC, and Credit Agricole. Now our trainees are applying the practices of inclusivity to their workplace cultures.

We acted as the neurodiversity consultants on the architectural design of the new Bosch headquarters planned for 2023. This was an honor and a game-changer for the industry.

We collaborated with the publisher Krytyka Polityczna to release the Polish translation of “Divergent Mind” by author and Neurodiversity Project founder Jenara Nerenberg. Sub-titled “Thriving in a World That Wasn’t Designed for You,” Nerenberg’s book came out in Polish in September and is a powerful voice shaping neuroculture today.

Our Foundation was busy conducting webinars, giving interviews, and providing organizations with expertise and support as needed. We especially enjoyed being invited to speak at the Responsible Business Forum’s ten-year anniversary of the Diversity Charter.

And here’s what we are planning for 2023.

Not only are we confirmed to continue “Neurodiversity in the Workplace” at SWPS Warsaw next year, but we will also be launching a second faculty at SWPS University’s Kraków campus.

In response to the international attention our efforts have attracted we will be developing our organization’s global presence and English-language communication.

Because of high demand and the success of our neurodiversity training workshops, we will be broadening our workplace-specific offer for businesses.

If that sounds like something you want to see happen, please support us. Everything we do is made possible by people like you!
